This is a care plan you can purchase either alongside your new sofa or with your second cover.
What does the care plan cover?
The care plan provides coverage for both the external upholstery and the mechanisms.
It offers protection against stains and accidental damage that may occur on your sofa or armchair, whether upholstered in fabric or leather, and it ensures intervention in the event of malfunctions and/or breakages of the mechanisms between the third and fifth year of warranty.
External Upholstery
The care plan covers accidental damage to the external upholstery in fabric, microfibre or leather — such as punctures, burns, scratches and tears — as well as scratches caused by pets.
In addition, it also covers accidental stains of any kind: acids, sparkling beverages, beer, wine, coffee, bleach, chocolate, glue, cosmetics and many more, as listed in detail in the information brochure.
Mechanisms’ Coverage
Once the statutory 2-year warranty has expired, from the 3rd to the 5th year, the Care Plan will provide assistance in case of malfunctions or breakages relating to: electrical components, opening mechanisms, sofa bed frames, levers, recliner ratchets and adjustable headrests.
How does the care plan work?
Should any of the accidental situations listed above occur, you can request assistance from Uniters, poltronesofà’s trusted partner for this service for many years.
Uniters will manage your request, with a team of specialised technicians carefully assessing the issue you have reported.
Upholstery protection kit
The Care Plan includes a cleaning kit, which cannot be purchased separately, containing products specifically created and developed to clean and protect your sofa while respecting the characteristics of its upholstery.
These products are water-based, highly biodegradable, environmentally friendly and do not irritate the skin.
Finally, we remind you that regular and consistent care of your sofa is essential to prolong its lifespan and maintain its fresh, vibrant appearance.
